Activene had the formula. Literally. A U.S.-made gel, clinically positioned, with a customer base that already knew it worked. The product wasn't the problem.

The listing was.

Stock images. No real story. No visual trust signals. In one of Amazon's most competitive health and wellness categories, Activene looked like every other generic brand fighting for the bottom of the page. High ad spend. Low conversions. Shoppers landing - and leaving.

The Challenge

Activene had a real product. The listing didn't prove it.

  • No visual credibility - Stock images made a high-quality, U.S.-made formula look indistinguishable from cheap generics.

  • Broken conversion funnel - Ad spend was bringing shoppers in. The listing wasn't keeping them. Bounce rates were high, conversions were poor.

  • No brand presence - Without a story, without real photography, without a visual identity, there was nothing for shoppers to trust.

Our Approach

Per-Ola called with a familiar problem. Sales weren't where they should be, and he wasn't sure why. Was it the market? The product? The price?

We went looking for the real answer.

What we found: the product was well-priced and genuinely good. The audience just didn't believe it yet. The listing wasn't building trust - it was quietly destroying it. Every stock image was a signal that said we didn't bother. And shoppers noticed.

Once we knew the problem, the path was clear.

The Creative Strategy

Before we touched a single image, we did the research. Three questions drove everything:

  1. What are shoppers actually searching for in this category?

  2. What objections keep showing up in competitor reviews?

  3. Which listings are winning clicks - and why?

The answers shaped a content plan built around what converts, not what looks nice in a deck.

Then we built the campaign.
