The Challenge

Belsa Hotel Collection was preparing its first-ever Amazon listing for a down alternative pillow. With no prior sales history, reviews, or existing marketplace presence, the listing had to establish credibility immediately in a category filled with bedding brands that visually overlap with one another.

The brand already had a visual identity, but its existing colors and typography choices did not translate cleanly to Amazon’s fast-scrolling environment. We needed to preserve the premium, understated character of the brand while adapting the system for stronger readability and impact at listing scale.

The competitive landscape changed mid-project. During our content strategy phase, the category leader updated its listing with a visual direction close to the one we had initially developed. Rather than move forward with creative that risked looking familiar, we returned to the strategy and built a more distinctive route for the Belsa Hotel Collection.

What We Did

Refined the Brand System for Amazon

We retained the brand's visual identity foundation while making deliberate adjustments to the palette and typography for the marketplace. The result maintained the brand’s calm, premium tone while giving the content the contrast and clarity Amazon shoppers need.

Revised the Creative Direction

When the category leader’s new visuals overlapped with our initial direction, we rebuilt the concept around a more ownable visual idea: soft, cloudy imagery that communicates the feel of the pillows before a shopper ever touches them. That visual language gave Belsa an unmistakable presence across the image stack, A+ Content, brand story, and video.

PickFu-Led Main Image Optimization

We tested several main-image concepts through a series of smaller PickFu polls, informed by what we found on Amazon’s search results page. The testing helped us narrow the direction to two of the strongest-performing concepts and make the hero-image decision with real shopper feedback behind it.

Editorial On-Location Photography

The client requested a real-model shoot in part to account for New York State's AI-disclosure laws. This helped use create a more grounded, believable listing experience. We worked with a diverse couple of models, a professional photographer, and a real-life location to bring warmth and realism to the brand. This helped us create an important contrast to a category increasingly reliant on polished but generic visuals.

Full Conversion Content System

We created the complete launch package: an image stack, A+ Content, brand story, promo video, AI-generated supporting visuals, and on-location photography. Every asset followed the same visual system, pairing real-life texture and representation with cloud-inspired softness to make the brand feel cohesive from first impression through deeper product exploration.

The Result

Belsa Hotel Collection launched with an Amazon presence designed to feel established from day one. The refined brand system, real-model photography, and cloud-inspired creative direction gave the listing a visual identity that stands apart from the category rather than blending into it.
